Hi Anh, could u create a Thread where we can talk about Chopin's Places in the world?? For example, in September i'm going to go in Warsaw, Poland. What could I see about Chopin?
I know these places to visit:
Lazienki in Warsaw (the famous Chopin statue in the middle of that beautiful garden)
The Ostrogski Palace (Chopin's museum in warsaw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostrogski_Palace )
Chopin's House in Zelazowa Wola ( cant find it online...any advice?)
The church where Chopin's Hearth is secured (Warsaw)   (a cardinal found a tombstone to Chopin in a crypt where there are the graves of the most important Polish, but I dont know if in this church)
Chopin's Scores ( Publisher: PWM, Editors: J. Paderewski, J.Ekier, Location: Warsaw, Krakow)
other things??
Thanks!

But we could talk even about Chopin in Paris and so on.

Edit: for the Chopin's House, it's in Zelazowa Wola and it's a branch of the Museum in Warsaw. found here http://chopin.museum/en/information/visitors     (MUSEUM + THE CHOPIN FAMILY DRAWING-ROOM + FRYDERYK CHOPIN'S BIRTHPLACE IN ŻELAZOWA WOLA)

You got descriptions and informations about places related to Chopin in "About me" part of this site. Maybe You can find some valuable information there. I think Anh wrote interesting stuff there, wrote nice descriptions and put it all nice in order.

However, I like Your idea - to have more detailed descriptions and informations about places related to Chopin. Honestly, I had the same thoughts  but I didn't want to propose this because I myself can't write much about it and contribute since I didn't gather and clear out much about Chopin's places yet. I was afraid if it would stay empty which would make it pointless, although, what Anh wrote would be an excellent material for starting point.

I might focus on this and write about Chopin's places but not yet. I have some other things about Chopin to do and clear out first and I have things to do with university. I don't know when I will finish with those things.

Thanks for replying, and good luck for your studies! Yes, Anh wrote interesting things in that section and made a "summary" of what you can find in that places (but I don't see the "Chopin International Competition" building..). Yeah, my idea is to write all places related to Chopin [even the most isolated place where u can find some Chopin's hair...SmileySmiley], including a short description on (for ex.) "How u can get there", "what u can see there", "how to use transports and the shortest way to reach a place ", etc.

I created a new section called "Chopin's places" under the Chopin category.
